Merry new year's resolution🥲
Hey guys,
Yes, yes and yes. I know that it has been a while but happy new year though. There's this thing called writers block and i'm sure many of you know it very well.
Today I'm going to be writing about how to achieve our new year goals and our so called "new years resolutions". Yeah you heard me right.
Basically the mistakes we make are setting very gigantic goals and trying to achieve them all in the first quarter.
Setting these big goals are not the problem but its breaking them into bits that are. Like the famous saying goes "rome was not built in a day". For example if one of your new years goals or resolutions is to get closer to God, you don't immediately start consuming 5 chapters of the bible in a day when you're not a mummy G.O. You start with few verses every morning and you try to turn this into a regular habit. When you've turned this into a regular habit then you slowly start increasing the amount chapters you read daily.
This simple step can also be applied to other forms of life. It could be eating healthy, working out, taking online courses, breaking certain habits and a lot more.
Let's just try to remember that little drops can form a mighty ocean. Have a wonderful year, cheers.
Thank you onyosi

DeleteBeautifully written..
ReplyDeleteWell said but I personally don't believe in New year resolutions
ReplyDeleteIt's the same thing as making any change at any point the year but waiting for new year is to add aesthetics
DeleteYeah I get. But I'd bet 90% of "new year resolutions" are never followed through
DeleteInsightful.
